One of the ninos watching for our friends from Pikes Peak Christian. The group worked hard on a very hot day, and we greatly appreciate their service. And the kids are very glad they are here.
From Jim Eisentrager, “This morning the Nampa team was afforded an incredible opportunity. At the public elementary school they were holding the first ever sport rally. When the note came home announcing the day it said that students couldn’t attend without a parent present. This poses an issue with the orphans. A plan was devised and today each of the mission team members became parents. We met our “kids” at their home this morning adopted our kids, boarded the school bus with them, and went to school. We participated in 12 different stations with our teams. The day ended with a ceviche tostada lunch and a raffle. What an honor for each of us to become parents to the little ones for the day.”
