Niños de Baja is blessed to have a wonderful, dedicated staff in Mexico. These include our directors, our staff and our caregivers.
Hector and Alma Rosa joined us in 2011, and are responsible for our children, our children’s homes and our employees in Mexico. They taught elementary and middle school in Ensenada for 30 years, and have two children and five grandchildren.
Karla and Juan joined us when Casa el Pescador (our home for boys) opened in 2011. They moved to our new boys’ home, Casa Granada, when it was finished in 2015. They are graduates of the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Ensenada, and they have a young daughter.
Francisco and Lidia joined us when Hacienda Sonrisa (our home for girls) opened in February 2014. They have a history of ministry work through their church in Ensenada, and they have two young daughters.
Angel and Denisse joined us in early 2016. Denisse graduated from the Nazarene Bible Institute and studied to be a teacher. Angel is the son of a pastor and also preaches the gospel. They served previously in an orphanage in Tijuana. They relieve our house parents on their days off.
Tarsi has been with Ninos since its beginning. He supervises our maintenance and construction crew. Their exceptional work can be seen in all of our facilities and grounds.
