Niños de Baja is blessed to have a wonderful, dedicated staff in Mexico. These include our directors, our staff and our caregivers.
Juan and Karla were appointed Mexico Operations Directors and began their tenure on January 2, 2019. Karla and Juan joined us when Casa el Pescador (our first home for boys, now called Casa Feliz) opened in 2011. They moved to our new boys’ home, Casa Granada, when it was finished in 2015. They are graduates of the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Ensenada, and they have a young daughter.
Francisco and Lidia joined us when Casa Sonrisa (our home for girls) opened in February 2014. They have a history of ministry work through their church in Ensenada, and they have two daughters.
Angel and Denisse joined us in early 2016. Denisse graduated from the Nazarene Bible Institute and studied to be a teacher. Angel is the son of a pastor and also preaches the gospel. They served previously in an orphanage in Tijuana.
Adan Rodriguez joined Ninos in October 2018 to supervise our oldest boys at Casa Feliz, a new home. He was orphaned at age 5 and moved to the Guadalupe Valley at age 15. He became a Christian at a young age and has worked with young people at the church in El Porvenir where our ninos attend.
Tarsi has been with Ninos since its beginning. He supervises our maintenance and construction crew. Their exceptional work can be seen in all of our facilities and grounds.
